The Monte Carlo Project EU
Cordis - Quality of Life

Expected Achievements of the Monte Carlo Project

The project should achieve the following:
  1. A software program purpose built for the stochastic modelling of food chemical intake.

  2. The acquisition of such data as are necessary to conduct a validity study of this software programme.

  3. The completion of a scientifically robust validation test of the software program for its capacity to stochastically model food chemical intake.

  4. The production of a set of practical guidelines for the appropriate use of stochastic modelling for food chemical intake studies.

  5. The wide dissemination of the results to different end-users in the area of food regulatory affairs, risk assessment and industry.
